The Gremlins invade my tower block
Well, yesterday has been a very interesting day. I am left in no doubt that the Gremlins have invaded my tower block and are the cause of everything that has happened.
When I returned from class yesterday, I got into the lift, pressed my floor button and of the lift went. Unfortunately for me, it stopped just below the door that opens to my floor. In the meantime, someone on the ninth floor called the lift as well. So, in the hope that it is a temporary glitch, I opened and closed the inner shutters of the lift. The lift started moving again on its way up to the ninth floor, while I pressed the button to my floor. The lift however stopped, once again, just below the door to the ninth floor. So, once again, I opened and closed the inner shutters and the lift started moving again towards my floor. This time it stopped just above the door to my floor. While it was going down, the blokes on the ninth floor called the lift again. In the end, for a few minutes I was going up and down between the floor, until I managed to press the ground floor button before the people on the ninth floor called the lift again. Fun :)
Out of the lift, up the stairs to my flat. And what do you know - the water has been switched off. Can't go to toilet, can't cook, can't shower or make a coffee. Then, a few hours down the road, as the water was switched on, the electricity went off. Definitely Gremlins!
